Extended due dates for compliances under the Income-Tax Act

The Central Government has extended the timelines for various compliance requirements under the Income Tax Act CBDT issued two circulars Circular No 9 2021 (dt 20 th May, 2021 and Circular No 12 2021 (dt 25 th June, 2021 providing relaxation in respect of several compliances. The decisions came in the wake of severe hardship faced by stakeholders on account of the ongoing pandemic aiming to ease the inconvenience faced in these difficult times The table overleaf lists the extended due dates as per the latest circulars.
